Spooktacular Giveaway Hop - 2 chances to win!

Spooktacular Giveaway Hop - Oct 24th to 31st -Hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer and Co-hosted by Rhianna @ TheDiaryofaBookworm

I have been looking forward to this hop...but not for any other reason than the fact that I got my hands on the most perfect book to use as a giveaway....

As a kid I loved Halloween.  It was a chance to dress up and be silly and, most of all, be someone you're not. I don't think I ever decided to be anything scary....wait, I take that back...one year I went as the "Scream" ghost for our High School dress up day, but I did that mostly because no one would know who I was at all.  I remember being a Fairy Princess as a kid, and I have pictures of myself dressed up as an awesome clown (mom did a great job!) when I was about 5 or so.  As I got into my early teen years I continually picked things like "punk rocker" because I wanted have while make-up and colored hair.  Then when I was a senior in High School I dressed up as The Crow - because I loved the movie.

Of all of those, I think dressing up as the Fairy Princess was my absolute favorite, because I made my own crown and wand, and did my own make-up for the very first time.  When I look back at the picture I didn't look that great at all (let's face it, who does when they have sweats on under their costume, and I had so much blush on it looks like I'm wearing lipstick on my cheeks), but that day I felt beautiful and had a ton of fun!

So..moving on.  None of that had anything to do with books or reading or anything, and something tells me about 1% of you actually read those two and a half paragraphs.  SOOO...without further ado, here are the giveaways you came for!

So I have saved my ARC copy of Alice in Zombieland (click for my review) for today's giveaway. (SEE...PERFECT GIVEAWAY!) I've had it for probably about 8 months...just waiting and waiting. Read once, of course, but the book is in EXCELLENT condition, and if you like the mash-up novels, or zombies, or well...anything that is even a tiny bit trippy...you'll like this one!! Sadly, due to shipping costs, etc, this particular giveaway is for US only. But I have another for everyone!

Okay, so maybe you're not so into Zombies. I get that. How about suspense then? Can you handle a tiny bit of suspense, mixed with one sexy ranch owner/emotionally tormented retired-investigator? Author Aris Whittier has given me permission to give away one e-book copy of her book Fatal Embrace. I found that the book to be fun, entertaining, and at times, edge of your seat! If this is more to your liking, or you just want a chance to win another book, or you're not from the US and didn't qualify for my first giveaway...please by all means....enter using my Rafflecopter widget! :)

(There will be an option to enter one or both giveaways...please do not enter Alice in Zombieland if you do not qualify...please...)

If neither Alice in Zombieland nor Fatal Embrace are to your liking - well...there are a LOT of giveaways this time (I think it was over 400 last I looked) so...move along with yah the linky is WAY at the bottom of this post. Thanks for stopping by!!

It's so hard to choose my favorite costume! I've had some really great ones. I was The Queen of Hearts my junior year of high school, so I'll say that.

I'm a red-head, so my mom dressed me up as every fictional red-headed character when I was little. That kinda traumatized me :-) But my favorite costume was last year when my husband and I dressed up as Dexter and Rita (after her time with the Trinity Killer) Morgan from the TV show Dexter.

My favorite costume - well my mom was fond of pillowcases LOL One year I was a ghost and one year Pocahontas - it is amazing what one can do with a pillowcase. Today they are to expensive for this and usually have flowers, somehow I cannot imagine a flowered ghost LOL and would stick with the store bought costumes. Thank you for participating in the fun:)
